Sure you can but sometimes it might take a couple of hours before the transaction is shown on your statement. No harm in checking with them though.

Have you got a card with foreign currency or Mauritian rupee btw?

Because the money is on your SBM Smile Card, not in your Paypal balance. When you purchase something, it will be deducted from your card, provided you have enough money to make the transaction.
