hi guys!

well, im willing to buy a mobile phone from ebay because the prices are much more affordable even when you include the shipping! but recently i've heard that there are some new laws about bringing electronic devices to the country and i just wanted to know if anybody ever bought a mobile phone from ebay(or whatever website), and if they did get any kind of issue when trying to retrieve it at customs office(la douane)i.e more taxes, import duties etc.
i just need to be sure about all these before i buy anything.

There are two things you need to know when importing mobile phones:

Customs will ask you for a Certificate of Conformity - that's all explained in the previous link
You will need to pay one or more of the following charges - VAT, Import Duty and Postal fees. All you need to know have already been blogged about here.
