There will always be good and bad ones. So if you can tell which specific agency, it might be easier to tell whether it has good reputation or not.

Actually one did not put any specific name & one told to contact C.G.A, but the advert was in Le Defi Plus/Quotidien.

Well Canada is really nice to go. Many job prospects there! If you want to go to CA, you need to apply online for a tourist visa. Errm you hold a Mauritian passport right??

I have never known anyone to use an agency to help them to immigrate abroad so I cannot say if they are genuine or not but I can say that it's not entirely necessary to use an agency.

These agencies just help you fill out forms and give you a little guidance. Depending in where you want to go you could probably do it all yourself, services worldwide are much better than in Mauritius, here you need to go to many places personally to be helped. Abroad many things are done over the internet instead of in person so you could do it all yourself.

Most countries also have very detailed websites on how and what you need to do to gain entry and settle down so there is a lot of information out there freely available.

Thanks for your counsel. I really want to do a move but don't know how or where to begin that's why I wanted to be helped..

Honestly you can do it yourself, there's no need to pay someone to do it for you. Places such as Canada and Australia are easier because there's so much information available.
