I am now the shareholder and director of an existing Limited and I want to establish another Limited in a totally different branch from the existing company. Also in the new company I want to be the shareholder and director as one person.

Yes, you can.
You will have to register a one person company.
The Act provides that one person may form a company. However, at incorporation or within 6 months, the sole shareholder/director must nominate a person to be the secretary in the event of his death or incapacity.
