Self employed business for foreigner in Mauritius

I am a Pakistan national ex banker, wish to do private business as self employed category. Please let me know the rules and also is there any limit of minimum investment requirement. Can I get the registration while on a tourist visit?

As a non-national wishing to do self employed business, you will need to be generating at least Rs600,000 (MRU) which is USD35,000 annually to be granted an Occupational Permit which allows you to live and work in Mauritius.
