American citizen wants to find a job in Mauritius
hi everybody..i have a friend who reside in USA and he wants to live permanently in Mauritius...please can you help him to find a job?? those who had a job vacancy can message me back..

Clear answer: Without a degree the chances of him getting a job is near impossible.
The most probable sector for him is in the tourism sector. Tell him to pay a visit to the Mauritian Embassy in America.
he is doing his degree in culinaary art...but its a degree of 2years..will he get a job with it??with this degree will he get a job of rs45,000 montly? thank you for answering back..hope to get an answer from you

employment should exceed MUR 30,000 (≈ USD 1,000).
It takes three (3) days to obtain an occupation permit, which is issued for a maximum period
of three years. The dependents of an occupation permit holder may also apply for residence
permits.

In US it's easy to get job and life is cheaper , sorry to tell you that. I think why your friend want to come here ,to start your friend need a (CRB CHECK) from US Criminal Records Bureau
he wants to come here because he likes mauritius and he wants to work here..he wants to live and work....i will tell to give a record from the US Criminal Records Bureau
Mauritius is not so great, there are many difficulties he is going to face here. Life is very expensive for a start, the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Which industry is he looking to work into? There are certain rules regarding work permit as well, so has your friend ever been to Mauritius?
he has never been to mauritius..it will be his first time here...he is looking in the tertiary sector but he doesnt know what work to do..and he doesnt have a degree only high school..please give me your advice...thanks for answering back

If he doesn't even have a degree then he'll be lucky to get a job earning Rs10,000. Unfortunately in Mauritius degrees count more than experience and everything else.
