If I create an account at MCB, can I apply for the Primo card immediately?

Suppose i create an account at Mcb, can i apply to primo credit card immediately with rs 10000? http://www.mcb.mu/en/individual/cards/credit-card-primo i find their website quite confusing as its says 'if you earn...', well my salary won't be transferred into that account, so will i be eligible to apply?

I don't think so. Because to have a Primo Credit Card at MCB, you need to have atleast a bank account and your salary transferred directly on your Bank account for atleast three continuous month.

Now, If let's say you don't work, and have a Bank account and want to apply for a Primo Credit Card, it is still possible with the condition attached, that you should have done transaction(debit and credit) continuously for atleast six continuous month.

Btw, why you want a Credit Card? You have other options, like the SBM SMILE PREPAID CARD. You don't need any account to have this Credit Card. Its not from MCB though but SBM.
