YouTube Partner Program

Mauritius is going to be last on the list, so don't hold your breath!

Btw you can always monetise the youtube videos by referring the traffic to your website, can't you?

No clue to be honest but I doubt it'll be anytime soon. The criteria for joining their program consist of the size of the would-like-to-be-partner's audience, quality of content, compliance with YouTube quality guidelines & Terms of Use and country of residence.

Mauritius has a very small population and therefore I don't think it's on YouTube's priority list. Many videos posted on Youtube are done while infringing copyrights and Google does not want partners like that.

Unless you're able to come up with good videos which will eventually attract a big audience, there's a lot of waiting to do I'm afraid.

Btw, why were you interested in the partner's program. Do you make your own original videos?
