Teaching English online in Mauritius allows you to work from home

I know someone who's been teaching English through Skype and has made a decent career out of it. Steady income as it's from a reputable employer, no commute to the office as it's home based, just requires a decent internet connection for video.

Does that sound appealing to you? What are your thoughts?
