However many people refer to online store as a website where you can view the products the company has to offer without necessarily being able to order things from the site itself and get it delivered to you. My view of an online store is actually an ecommerce site where you're able to do everything from the internet (find products you like, purchase and receive them at home).

I'm not sure whether your opinion differs from mine but the link I gave earlier covers most internet stores in Mauritius. Ecommerce has not really picked up yet because of many factors like:

1. Many Mauritians are not comfortable entering their bank details on a website
2. Mauritians tend to think Mauritian ecommerce platforms are NOT so safe
3. Sellers do not have easy access to payment gateways like Paypal
4. Online prices are not necessarily cheaper than in local shops

So to this date, you're better off going to a supermarket or whichever shop you need to for the best deals.
